Awareness of the Breath

Through guided meditation, participants will uncover breathing habits that may have been unconscious their entire life. Poor breathing can rob energy, diminish vitality, interrupt sleep and contribute to poor health. We will explore the reasons that some may breathe shallow or hold the breath. Discover how fight, flight or freeze can be transformed to the relaxation response at will. Through guided meditation, participants will discover how the breath is affected by our reactive nature and our emotions. Increase your energy and sense of vitality through the breath. Discover the correlation of breathing patterns to altered stated of consciousness.



An Opening of the Heart

This workshop is designed to help individuals shift the center of their consciousness from the mind to the heart. Our minds have been programmed throughout the course of our lives by our parents, teachers, society, culture, and religions to perform and believe in certain ways, infusing the truth with belief systems that may or may not be true. The heart, however, contains a wisdom that was “programmed at the factory.” This innate wisdom can be accessed through the quieting of the mind and the opening of the heart. The opening of the heart helps to reveal a deep love that is unconditional in its nature. The purity of this love has the potential to not only heal oneself but also to heal others. As the spiritual heart opens, it entrains the rhythm of the physical heart to a coherent state that affects every organ and gland in the body. One’s entire physiology can be transformed to a state of being that promotes relaxation and optimal health.

 

Cultivating Presence

We are living in a time and culture where distraction is everywhere. Businesses spend millions of dollars to get our attention to encourage sales and profits. We distract ourselves for a multitude of reasons, often to avoid physical or emotional discomfort. Addiction to screens is at an all-time high. This course is designed to reintroduce us to the present moment. Immersing ourselves in the present moment can improve our health, our relationships, and our connection to the reality much deeper that we could have ever imagined by our mind alone.
